Howdy All,
I'm about to plumb an in-ground vinyl pool-kit install & had a question/clarification about pipe size for whoever wishes to offer it,
The kit came with 1.5' Tiger-Flex which I am going to forego for ridged PVC,
There is one Skimmer/suction line & two return lines

Am I best to use 1.5' ridged throughout the system?
Or
Use 2' for the suction line, 2' for the filter/heater/electroylic cell (which all are plumbed at 2' openings), then 'T' back to 1.5' for the two returns?
Or.........?

The suction line would be a direct 12ft run to the pump, while the two returns are 40 & 45ft.

Pool size is 16,500gal
Pump is Hayward 1.65 THP VS
Filter is Hayward C3030 (cartridge)
Heater is Hayward Gas H250FD

Thanks for any direction, advice and wisdom/experience,

Tom

Welcome to TFP.

You will see no operatioanl differnce between using 1.5" or 2" lines. Do whatever is easiest for you.
