Hey everyone. I have an Above Ground Pool that is 19,354 gallons. I've been battling the alkalinity issue for quite some time now. I can't seem to get the TA down much. Even by adding MA. My ph is 7.6 and my TA is 140-160. I've added muriatic acid in different doses and it seems to lower the ph more than anything and the TA stays about the same every time. The high TA seems to be affecting my ph levels constantly. What do you suggest I do to lower my TA to 80-120? I have a salt water pool and it's crystal clear, but I can't get my TA down. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. According to my Sutro Monitor, my TA is 140-460. ph is 7.6 and free chlorine is 1.7. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Also, I'm excited to be a new member of this forum. Hopefully I will learn a ton and eventually be able to give some advice to members in the future.
