Started the pump after priming and so far so good, no leaks and working good. Added Leaf catcher in the vacuum line and should catch a lot of leaves. Alng with leaf catcher, skimmer basket and the pump basket with pool sock should filter out unwanted debris into the pool pump/impeller.

Not the best work I wanted, but this is the best we came up (me and my handyman neighbor) in getting the pipes patched and pump working. In a year, after all the craziness of labor shortage I will redo the pool and change it to VSP motor.
