pump and filter for 27' Venture

I've done some reading, and I think I'm ready to order my filter and pump for my new 27' Venture. Here is what I'm looking at:

Pump:

For the filter I'm pretty sure I'm going with:

Either pump would do fine. For the filter, check the chart in Pool School, and if it is about double the effective filter area, it will work fine. General consensus around here is to go with the largest filter you can afford.

Does the fact that the filter is marked as "in ground" matter? I know it does for pumps, but does it matter on the filter? I could probably afford the 27" model if people think it would make a difference.

No, IG or AG does not matter for filters. The diff between pumps is that AG pumps are usually not self priming because they are below the water level and therefore gravity takes care of that. You can use an IG pump on AG.
