15x30 AG. Has anyone cut into aluminum wall for a new return to improve circulation? This would be in wall section opposite/diagonal to current skimmer/return location. Circulation farthest from original return in this area has yielded some algae. Pool owner for 15 yrs.

Yes i did with my old pool and it worked fine.but i did it before i put the liner in.
