How to read TF 100 test results

I have two questions...

TA Test... Am I looking for a really red color? Like blood red? A dark pink? Just as the water starts turning redish pink?

CYA Test... Should the black dot be COMPLETELY disappeared? I shouldn't even have the faintest trace of a black dot?

For TA, you are looking for color change. Keep adding drops 1 at a time until teh last drop does not produce any change at all. Then dont count that last drop.

CYA, the black dot needs to completely disappear.

The red is more like Barbie Pink. And the CYA test means you don't know there's a dot in the tube. Look away a second and then look back. Pour the sample back into the mixing bottle and repeat it as many times as you need to feel comfortable with your readings. If you're always getting something between, say, 40 and 50, call it 50 and be done with it.
