Slamming and SWG question

Hello,
I know you need to turn your SWG off when you plan to do the OCLT, but can you turn the SWG back on during the days while slamming/shocking ( to help keep chlorine up during daytime hours)?

Yes, you can. If you have a real bad swamp going on I'd turn it off as it won't be able to keep up with the chlorine demand. Save on the cell life.
I usually recommend turning it off no matter what but it's your call. ?
