Yes, I thought I read something about OCLT being written with the assumption that FC is at SLAM level, but can't find anything to back that up.
Also, the answer I was given in this thread indicates it is better to have FC at SLAM levels, but it isn't necessary.
I'm already a little above normal levels (I'm at 12.5 with a CYA of 70) so I went ahead and did the test and my overnight loss was zero, so I'd say I'm good. My SWG keeps flashing low salt even after a thorough cleaning and I don't have any test strips at the moment to verify a low salt level. So I'm manually dosing right now until my new test strips arrive and I just wanted to be sure my water was still ok since I've never been without my precious SWG before. This is the 4th season with it, so the cell might need to be replaced.
