Today was finally the day, it was time to open the pool. It's a little cloudy, but nothing some bleach won't take care of. First test results were pretty good:

Stated the SLAM with 4 bottles of 8.25% from Aldi, got FC up to 13. I'll start hourly checks tomorrow. Also going to buy a bottle of CYA and some baking soda and Borax. Just need to buy a cheap solar cover. Don't know if I'll get it from ebay, or Amazon, or somewhere else. I have some pictures of the pool, just need to get them posted from my phone.
