Shop Vac you use...

What's a good shop vac just to drain the last 2" in my wood hot tub? Most are made for fine dust for car seats or contractors picking up drywall dust etc. I would use it only for the times I drain, around every 3 months. They offer HP, air volume, amps, not sure what I should be after, what do you guys use?

I have a Sears Craftsman wet-n-dry shop vac that will suck up water and holds about five gallons. It even has a drain valve on the side. You do have to remove the paper filter element before you use it on liquids.

I've never used it on the pool, but it worked great to empty out a toilet before I unbolted it!
