To SWG or to not SWG

I have had a SWG for three years and wouldn't go back to using pucks. I find it a lot easier to maintain a consistent chlorine level with a SWG and you don't have to worry about over stabilizing the pool as you do with pucks. The downside is that you need to watch your PH, because the SWG tends to drive it up. The salt levels tend to stay fairly consistent once you get it up to the right levels in the beginning of the season. I normally only need to add 1 - 3 bags during the course of the summer depending upon how much the pool is refilled due to splash out.

As others have said, it's not really a money saver. But, if you value the convenience, it's worth it.
