Did I mention I loved this TF-100 kit? There is no questioning the results... "add one drop at a time until it turns blue"... I'm thinking, well, is it going to go from red to reddish purple, then purple, then purple-blueish, etc... When do I decide if it's blue? Well, the question doesn't even asks itself.... it's red... then BAM! it's blue! No questions there! Did I mention I love this TF-100 kit?
Here are my results from just now, about 10am.
Chlorine: 0.5
Ph: 7.5
FC: 0.5
CC: 0.5
TA: 60
CH: 110
CYA: 23
Now, my FC has been up there (5+) until 2-3 days ago. But I had a solar cover on it. I've had a lot of bathers in the past 2 days and I'm still trying to get a hold of my SWG percentage (hovering between 5% and 20%...) It's on super chlorinate now and I will put on the solar cover soon, and FC will get back up there...
So, what to do here... I'm thinking of upping the CYA to at least 40-50 as I find my chlorine levels swing a little too much from way up to way low.
The pool store told me CH level was important for SWG... the guy told me if CH is too low, there will be deposits on the anodes and cathodes or something to the effect of premature cell failure. Is there any truth to that? From this forum, all I can tell is that CH is not important in vinyl lined pools...
Advice would be much appreciated
