It happens sometimes. Maintaining proper FC usually usually repels bugs from getting in the water. In cases where a bit more "persuasion" is needed, borates can help.
Yep today before cleaning. I know oh and all high I added acid again.

I think this just happens sometimes. For me, this year I have been having those bugs that walk on top of the water. I don't think they bite, so I am not too concerned.
Most of those underwater bugs eat algae and other organics. Since you keep a clean pool free of organics, the bugs move on fairly quickly. Most often within a few hours.
