Since I think it is safe to say I have completed my conversion and have moved on to a maintenance mode, I probably should have already done this but since I haven't, let me put something of a wrap on this thread.
As it has been noted on several occasions throughout this forum, pictures are worth a thousand (or more) words. Prior to this conversion, it was a rare occurrence for our pool to look anything at all like this.
How I wish we would have done this years ago...but we are here now and enjoying the pool much more so.
I'll post my final readings on this thread here but I will open a more specific thread (in the correct forum) for on going testing related questions.
FC 2 ppm
CC none (I am still adding CYA for the first time to this pool)
TA 60-70
PH 7.8 (we have had a considerable bit of rain lately)
CYA the test dot can still be seen BUT the water is now a bit cloudy during the test! I think progress is being made!
