Hello! First time posting! We just installed a 21ft Doughboy. The area was leveled to within 1/2", measuring with a laser level. All leveling was done by digging down. We planned on hooking everything up, pump and filter, but it got too late so the pool is only filled halfway right now. The problem is that one of the floor plates is not touching the ground at all. We have no idea what caused this. It can't be that the floor plate moved when installing the wall because the ends wouldn't have met up. It's just raised in the air about an inch maybe less. Any ideas? All other floor plates are on the ground.

It could be that the paver it is sitting on is set lower than the others. Is the pool level the whole way around since it's been filled? Is the plate still off the paver? Can you post pics so we can see it?

Hello and thanks for your reply. The floor plates are not set on pavers. They are on the ground, or should be, lol. We spoke to a pool installer yesterday. The pool was given to us. When we put it up we tried to use the same holes the previous owners used. The installer said it's almost impossible to do it. All original holes were used until the last few screws (top rail). We had a very hard time getting the last couple screws in any hole. The installer said the plate probably lifted itself up bringing it even more level. Yesterday, we tightened straps all the way around the pool, just as precaution, and then took the screws out of the last top rail section to see if the floor plate would sink back down and it didn't even budge. The screw holes stayed lined up and everything. The water level is completely level all the way around except for 2 spots, directly accross from each other, and they are less than a 1/4" off. So, we packed sand under the floor plate then dirt over top that and considered it done. Sorry for no pictures, it started raining before I could take one.

Ok, 1 thing, water is always 100% level by it's very nature, so anything not level is the pool or the ground - not the water.
You packed sand and soil under 1 of the plates that was suspended off the ground....sorry but that's not a done solution, it won't last.
It's hard to gauge the problem from a written description, some pictures would really help.
