6 Port T Valve Rebuild

I need to rebuild the 6 port T valve for my inground cleaning. Should I replace the entire assembly or just the top gears and impeller? I shimmed with stainless washers to get me by a few weeks. Are these assemblys standardized or do I need to identify the original manufacture? We inherited the pool from the previous home owners. This is a 6 port 2” T valve.

When is the last time the gearset was rebuilt or replaced?
It would be best to replace the entire gearset. Also check the T-valves for proper function.
