    AquaGlow Rainbow Fountain Pics

Works well, great for aerating! No batteries needed an it easily hooks to the return.

How heavy is it? Could the kids accidentally drop it in the pool by hitting the hose?

Yea they could. It is pretty light. I wouldn't worry about a shock or anything though.

I bought one this year as well. I have an above ground pool so I was able to plumb it in so you don't have to mess around with hooking it up to your return. I just have to turn one valve on and close the return valve part way and it's up and running.

    Ok, idiot alert...

if there are no batteries, and obviously no cord, what powers the way-cool light???

Hydro power. Theres a small generator in their that powers a few LED's. Such a simple idea that works great. I wish I would have thought of it

I'm so glad you guys posted these pics! I saw one of these in one of the pool supply catalog and thought it seemed like a good idea, but wondered how it worked (and if the light would be too faint). Your pics tell me that I might have to look into getting on of these!
