Hello all,
I have started the pool season up here in southeast WI. Pool is not leveled from settlement and rains about 1.5" Does anyone think this will be a big problem? In regard to water, I added 120 lbs of morton water purification salt. Need to test the PPM before turning on the SWG. I tested the water with the Taylor 2006 kit. my numbers are
PH- 7.4
CH- 140
TA- 130
FC-0
CYA-0
Pool school says I don't need to hurry to lower TA. However Pool School says that TA impacts PH, and PH impacts how well the chlorine works. I am confused. Should I get TA in range or move forward with getting
PH-7.5-7.6
TA-60-80 ppm (over time with areation)
FC-3-5 ppm
CYA-70-80 ppm
CH is already in range via the pool school SWG level config
