CA Central Valley Pool re-plaster & Equipment Q's

I live in the Central Valley of CA, between Fresno and Bakersfield. We are in the process of looking for people to re-plaster our pool and change out our pool filter, so I have a few questions:
  • The pool is currently plaster but we are thinking of Pebble-Tec or Diamond Brite. Does anyone have experience with Diamond Brite? Pros/Cons?
    Can anyone give input on a pool re-plastering company here in the CV?
    We are changing out our pool filter, mega old can't find parts, to a Jandy DEV 60 and I would like to move the equipment. Any advice on building a pad for the equipment? Room is not an issue we are on 2.1 acres.
