Which vinyl liner is better?????

What is the major difference in the mils for liners? Is a 20 mil ok and is it much different than a 27 mil?

The thicker the better. 27 mil is thicker than 20 mil so it's better.

Well won't both of them fade at the same rate and deteriorate at the same rate? I guess my thought is if a dog is gonna put a hole in a liner it isn't gonna make a difference whether or not it is a 20mil or a 27mil???? Does anyone know the advantages to a thicker liner?
