ok i held high FC levels for 4 days (not sure the exact level but i hit it with 4.25 gallons of bleach day one and 1 a day since)my kit only goes to 10 :(

I got another kit today to check cya and has new chems for ph and alk

heres the results
CYA 60
Alk 140 :(
PH 7.8
FC TC--- test maxed out at 10 oto turns almost brown lol

hardness didnt register? ( it was supposedto turn red at the start and then green .. never turned red ???
is this alk level doable? or should I get some acid?
My old kit with last years reagents toldme I had alk of around 70.. so i kept Hammered it with arm and hammer ..

It is getting clearer every day..
Im thinking about adding some DE to the sand after the next backwash
 
Idont have a test kit to get a reading on FC.
I cant find one locally and havent ordered one here yet...
my oto test turns veeery dark orange..
and my strips max out at 10 .. very dark purple..
I know I need to get a handleon the sanitizer levels but I dont have any way to get a specific number right now

I know the yellow/brown "dust" has stopped accumulating and the water isnt green :)
Does anyone sell just the chlorine test here?
I have a cya (dot) test and TA and CH test
I dont want to spend $80 for tests Ialready have..
