We used well water to fill our above ground pool which holds 5500 gallons. The water has been a light clear green since we filled it. the Ph and chlorine levels are okay. We have shocked the pool several times and have added "metal control" It seems a bit better, but is there anything we can do to continue clearing this up?

Welcome to TFP!!!

Read Pool School. Here is an article about metals and recommendations on how to control it:

Also read in Pool School what we consider the shock PROCESS. Just guessing you threw some powder in and called it good ... that is not what we recommend.

If you can, post up a full set of test results FC, CC, pH, TA, CH, CYA. If you can't, that means you should really invest in one of the recommended test kits to help you enjoy a clear pool.
