Painting Fiberglass Steps?

Is it possible to paint the white fiberglass steps?

I was thinking of having a paint made up that would match with my liner, but wasnt sure if this was possible. Not sure if paint would stick.

I paint them with an epoxy paint when repairing them after I fiberglass them. If you prep the surface properly the epoxy paint should work well. I've only used white so far to match the steps though.
the epoxy paint is a two part paint. you mix the quart of catalyst with the gallon of paint

Also bear in mind that having them contrast may save a pet from drowning - or so I'm told. Might be just nonesense.
