Cells typically last three to five years, or about 10,000 hours producing chlorine. So your cell is getting towards the end of it's life, if it isn't already there.
>> Any idea how much time is left before replacement?
If you can borrow a Pentair IntelliWand, it will tell you detail diagnostics for your cell. Many pool pro's have them and some stores may have a unit in their repair dept. I paid about 110.00 from online store.
Thanks Susa, Jason and Bana Rambler. Your info and comments helped me to decide to buy a new one, which is now installed. Many thanks from Sunny Mexico!
