I have black areas on the side and bottom of my pebble tech pool. Is it Algae? When I add shock to the pool it seems to "bleach" the stains and make them go away. I now have a pool with spots on the bottom where the shock settled and darker areas where it didn't. Relentless scrubbing has little effect. Help! SWG pool.

Can you describe the black areas? Size, shape? Got a pic?
What type brush are you using? How often?
What product are you using to shock your pool that is causing 'spots on the bottom'?
