Adding Borax

I am new to this BBB method...I need to increase my ph by adding Borax. How exactly to I add it? Through the skimmer or mix and pour in the water?

Borax is best added by pre-dissolving it in a bucket of water and then pouring that slowly in front of a return.

Your pH of 7.2 looks fine. Why do you want to increase it?
