You Florida guys are killing us northerners. While it's warm for February, 45 today, it's still another 3-4 months before we can enjoy the pool.

LOL, my dad rubs it in too. He's over in Tampa and texts me the daily temps everyday. He actually complained a few weeks ago when it was 60. Ugh, 6 more years to retire down there!

The pool has been about 40 degrees for the pass few days, and the anti freeze has been running at night. Feels like winter finally made to Vegas.

Re: What's your current pool temp?

I just got 2 new pentair VS pumps installed in my pool last week and have been playing around with programming and dialing in the flow to work with my solar heating. Today I realized that my pool is already 80 degrees! Shocking for a screened in pool in February here in Clearwater. I played tennis for 2 hours and couldn't resist. I dove right in the pool and floated around for a bit. Refreshing!!

68 in Deatsville AL No solar cover or solar panels.
Curious to know what's the average temp increase I could expect if I did add a solar cover

Re: What's your current pool temp?

68 was downright steamy when we dropped into the mid 30's yesterday.

Edit- That should have been 58 degrees. I'd be swimming if it was 68.

A sizzling 94 today, and that was a bit too hot for me. Turning the solar back down to 92 for the weekend.
