Has anyone ever installed 2 rows of 3x6” waterline tile? Looking at this Orion Greek tile but not any build pictures. 3" x 6"

PB recommended using a 6” but I like the brick layout. Will I regret that horizontal grout line right at the waterline?

I love the 1x2 and such sizes tile for the same reason. I did not know they used a 3x6. That would be nice to see. The reason you PB does not like it is it takes a bit longer to install and if the installer is not top notch that will show more on the 3x6 tiles. If you keep the water balanced you should not have any problems with the grout line. I would not get white or light gray as we both know those will show any dirt or darking as it ages. I would go med gray for the grout.

Thanks! I had a 2 x 2 picked out but he warned us that they might start popping off after 7-8 years…

That is some beautiful tile! I wish I had seen that option, it's gorgeous. They had it in a 1x2, but I was skeptical about it so I went with some 1x2 with some blues and sparkle. I love how your sister's 3x6 is turning out. I can't wait to see the finished product.
