Hi All,
I followed much of your advice last year in getting started with pool ownership. This year we've just finished replacing the vinyl liner of our pool, installing a SWG and purchasing a robot vacuum in hopes of making the standard maintenance less time consuming. Looking forward to help and advice here as well as I get used to the new set up, particularly optimizing the SWG. I may have already made a mistake in having the company who installed the liner do a first iteration of water balancing which has left us with a TA of 140. Is this going to be ok or should I work to bring this down? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!
The TA will come down over time.
Head on over to the Just Getting Started sub forum and start a thread. You will get great advice on getting your pool water chemistry ready for your SWCG.

I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry and consider reviewing the entire Pool School eBook.
