I purchased a home with a 27' above groud pool, the pool has a aqua smarte system. Wanting to know what is better to have, a Aqua Smarte System or buying a Sand Filter System. Also in the long run which would be more expensive and time consuming.
Aqua Smarte is primarily a copper system, though some models also use trichlor. We don't recommend the Aqua Smarte system, and instead recommend either liquid chlorine or a SWG. That choice has nothing to do with a filter, which is required in either case. Sand filters are the simplest kind of filter to use. Cartridge and DE filters are also available. Both filter a little better and require a more maintenance.
