A lightning strike knocked a relay out of our Polaris Command Center. Everything still worked except the pool and spa lights, which could not be turned off. Had to unplug the relay to turn them off. Service tech repaired today but spa light won't come on. He figures the lamps out. He want's to drain spa to fix the light... is draining necessary? I've replaced lamps underwater before. Do some require draining to replace a lamp or do you think he just prefers to drain. I think I can do it myself, just unsure about the need to drain.
