25 years with a pool; TIGER SHARK cleaner problem

Hayward tiger shark Qc problem
Since new when I pull the cleaner out of the pool a lot of what it collected falls right back in.
Is there a flapper or something missing from my unit?

I Googled this for you.... look at your cleaner and compare to this....maybe you'll see something missing?

Nothing missing that I can see, just doesn’t seem right dumping all that newly vacuumed dirt back into the pool!

On your bottom lid, are the flaps closing when you lift the clearner out of the water?

You may have the flaps but are possibly jammed in the open position. They're spring loaded and supposed to close when suction stops. I know on the Aquabot classic same issue if flaps don't return to the closed position dirt comes out with the water when being removed from pool.

Sorry it took me a while to get back, I just picked up a set of gates for my tiger shark as suggested(there were none supplied new).
So now I am vacuuming with a 3 year old vacuum that has been used maybe 12 times, should be good for a while.
