I've been a regular reader of this forum and have received a lot of good advice. I just recently opened my pool a couple of weeks ago and today while one of my kids was swimming, several of the tiles fell off the side of the pool. Before I start getting all worked up about this, I thought I would ask the experts here whether or not this normal for an in-ground pool. My pool is 4 years old and I rigorously maintain the pool chemistry myself.
Should I be concerned about this? Is this a common issue that is generally limited in the amount affected? As far as I can tell, it is isolated to a small spot but I haven't gotten in to the pool yet to see if there are other tiles that are loose. Is the repair of these tiles a simple process or does it require more drastic activities (completely draining the pool).
Any advice would be most appreciated.
Thanks!
