I hated it too for the first day but after using it twenty times I can honestly say I forgot what the old one looked like. This one is great once your brain decides to get with it.

I've been using it for weeks and still don't like it. I especially miss how many days it's been since you've tested versus a date. Just showing the date I have to do math instead of a no-brainer it's been 7 days since you tested this time to test. I'm actually thinking a ditching it and moving to a different app .

We need a Diamond Tier

There should be badges on whatever tier that has multiple donations at that level. It would indicate that the member has had continued support of TFP and was not just a one time contributor.
I also know that some people contribute monthly rather than annually so that would also show their continued support at whatever their monthly donations calculates to as an annual donation.

As I wrote in this post, this forum saved me about $3K with feedback on an equipment proposal. TFP earned the donation from me! Disclaimer: I donated a lot less than $3K.

@Sarah and Nate , @Leebo - As @HermanTX mentioned, this should really be pinned to the top of this forum.

And have you ever considered some kind of site banner to "advertise" the annual fund raiser? I too visit weekly and this did not catch my immediate attention several threads down.

Finally, did you consider raising the goal? Sometimes folks think "oh, they made the goal I don't need to donate now". But I can't imagine there aren't plenty of ways to use the funds in hosting and improving the site, the PoolMath app, etc., etc., etc.!

Since we achieved the goal, we removed the thread’s featured status which increases its visibility, and unpinned it.
The goal right now essentially covers TFPs operating expenses. In the future we will likely raise it, but as of now it’s my preference to have a modest and extremely achievable goal.
