Hey guys. Some of you may have seen the issue I had with the lawn guy putting a hole in my pool. This resulted in having to take the cover off early to patch and was immediately followed by an algae bloom. Water went from see through to a dark green (couldn't see bottom) in 2 days. My water level is about 14 inches low, so I have 5000 gallons coming Wednesday, but dumped in 3 gallons of liquid chlorine to get the algae under control. Overnight water is again blue and clear.

Waiting on some new reagents, so these results are using last years reagents, but they are not > 1 year old, yet.

pH - 7.6
Cl (F) - 3
Cl (T) - 3
TA - 50
CH - 60
CYA - 30

I had planned to dump another 2 gallons of chlorine in before the water delivery, unless you think I should balance TA/CH first.

Dump in chlorine to get your water to 12ppm.

The new water will change your TA and CH. CH does not matter for your pool.
