1st time testing water......

Bought a used pool and finally got it put up on Monday (July 3). Did not hook up any filtering system and after filling the whole pool - (I know, should of quit when I noticed)- pool was not level by 5". We swam in it until Friday - still not adding anything or hooking up pump. Realizing (knew right away) we had to level pool, we starting emptying with a sump pump. Monday we will get ground professionally leveled and will start again. Anyway, I tested the water before emptying to get a vague idea where the water is at. These are my results (if I did it right, and enjoyed doing it)

CYA 30
CH 900? (Seems high)
FC 0 - no chlorine

what I understand is I need to add
161oz bleach
5.6 oz Muriatic Acid ? Does this get old, got with pool???
not sure about TA
not sure about CH
2 quarts, 3 cups of liquid stabilizer for CYA
Used the app to get my results

I would just test your fill water as you are filling it to get accurate levels.
The MA doesn't have a shelf life, the bottom will fail before it goes bad.

2 things strike me as odd... Ta and ch are very very high.

Were you using a lot of calcium hypochlorite to chlorinate your pool? If not, how did your perform the test?

Did you remember to wipe the tip of the ta test dropper each drop?
