I am getting my first hot tub this weekend in upstate NY and feeling a little overwhelmed. I am excited but want to make sure I do everything right in terms of cleaning, chemicals, maintenance, etc. I appreciate any advice or words of wisdom!

I second what @cowboycasey said - I couldn’t live w/out my saltron mini it does most of my chlorination.
Just Follow this guide & then if you decide to add a swg to help you chlorinate you will already have a handle on things

Get u a proper test kit so you’re ready to take care of your new tub from the start Test Kits Compared
An ahhsome flush is recommended for new tubs as they are wet tested at the factory as well as when you drain & refill to remove biofilms
