We are full of water now. Having a few issues with operation. I think it's the valves. Seems I'm not currently able to shut off spa drains which keeps causing it to drain.

I am sure there will be some things that need to be worked through to get them just right or working how they should be. I hope it is an easy fix.

Congratulations on the plaster and filling it up! It has been a long journey to get to this part but I am happy you have hit this huge milestone. I still can't believe you got all of that work done in the enclosed space with the concrete walls limiting the maneuvering room. It was all very impressive. -Karen

Thanks Karen but remember the hole was already there. We just took the life out of it (trees) and traded dirt for water.

The pool is 20-25k gallons. It only took about 16 hours to fill using 2 hoses. I had to turn one off at about three in the morning because it was filling so fast and I wanted to get a little sleep. Pool was full and so was spa by 5:00 am. We started filling at 1:00pm the previous day. Pb couldn't believe how fast it filled with 2 hoses. 38 years and he had never tried it before. Thought I was nuts doing it.
