CYA testing with standard 50 solution

When using the standard solution do you just dump the standard solution into the vial directly to measure or do you dump it into the mixing bottle and fill up to the bottom of the vial and add the reagent basically treating the standard as if it’s pool water? I’ve gotten some mixed results with the standard.

You treat the Standard as if you just took it out of your pool.. You run the normal CYA tests.. and in theory it should read about 50 ppm..
