Hello everyone.
My name is Andy. I am somewhat new to pools and am sick of the pool stores just trying to sell me stuff. This is my first pooI and ive had it for 3 years. I live in michigan and have a 30,000 gal inground salt water pool. I look forward to all the information i can learn from here.

 Welcome to TFP!!!!

Well, unfortunately the first thing we are likely going to do is "sell" you something. But, not for our profit, instead so that you have reliable test results with which you can KNOW what your pool NEEDS and not waste money on things it doesn't ;)

So ... please invest in one of the Recommended Test Kits if you do not have one already. I recommend the TF-100 from tftestkits.net as the best value and no one has ever regretted adding the SpeedStir :goodjob:

You will most certainly save the cost of the test kit by avoiding the pool store only 1 or 2 times.

Thank you guys. I do have a taylor 2006k test kit. Do those go bad it was left by previous home owner?

The reagents should be refreshed every year to 18 months.

What is the expiration date on the Taylor reagent bottles?
