FC and CYA relationship

First time pool owner and all numbers are in good balance. Just waiting on FC to come down.

My CYA is 25 which I want higher , but with FC at 30, should I wait for it to come down before raising CYA?

Yikes, why would you have a FC of 30 with a CYA under 30?!

You can add the CYA at any time.

How are you testing your water? Can you add that to your signature?

The pool builder threw in some shock as we had 0 chlorine because storm took out the breaker the salt generator was on. I guess he went crazy and had the salt generator going once the power came back on.

Whats your guess of how much sunlight it will take to burn this off? 3 hours ? 30 hrs?? I’m new to this. Clueless
