Has anyone ever had to change out a Intex Horizontal Beam 12428A due to rusting through?? I am trying to find out if I am going to have to drain the pool to do so, or can it be done full? Any help / ideas? Thanks

I need to preface this saying how much I love Intex style pools. Once you are on a float, it's no different than any other pool, at a small fraction of the cost. They are great for folks to experiment with to see if they'd like a pool, great for those on a tight budget, great for those who rent and great for those with an uncertain future if they might move / change careers / etc.
I think they're FANTASTIC.
That said, yours is a 16 foot bag holding 50k pounds of water. Do not attempt to replace the rail without draining.
