15x7 rectangle pool. Pavers needed?

Currently setting up a 15’ x7’ (4.5m x 2.2m) rectangular intex pool. Pool has been placed on 0.75 inch (20mm) XPS foam which sits on grass. Lawn was levelled last summer so no issues with that.
My question is regarding pavers. I’ve seen a lot of threads regarding their use but all seem to apply to much bigger pools. This pool is 1883 gallons and 7000 litres with 12 leg supports. Would pavers still be recommended for this size pool or is the XPS foam enough. If needed would hardwood be sufficient?

Does the manufacturers directions call for them? If so use them. IF its not mentioned, I would still use them as they help keep the legs stable. Hardwood is acceptable if large enough.

I hadn't but thank you. Luckily our lawn was levelled last year and the pool ended up 1/2 inch out so I'm happy with that! Used Marine plywood under the legs and after 3 days its holding well. Heavy rain today so will be interesting to see how it is when I finish work!
