Heyo,
I picked up the 2500GPH Intex to replace my 300GPH Bestway. As a starting point, I'm thinking of getting an over the wall strainer for one of my two outlets and then just the 1.5" to 1.25" adapters, maintaining the original hoses/inlet/outlets with the new pump. Pardon the terrible Photoshop, but the image is what I'm getting at. Is the pump going to suffer at 1.25" throughout?
Alternatively, I thought perhaps I could cut the return larger and go with the 1.5" return/hose that came with the pump and also get a 1.25 to 1.5" tee to allow both the 1.25" inlets to "combine" into a larger hose to maintain volume.
Thoughts?
