Make the switch now before closing the pool or wait till Spring?

Just received my RJ-60 Plus and VJ-3 VS pump yesterday. Wondering if I should make the switch now or wait till we open the pool in the Spring? Currently coming to an end of a SLAM and we have been having warmer weather than normal. I am expecting not to close the pool till mid October till the water temp drops enough.
 
Given you are in a SLAM currently and there are only a few weeks to mid-Oct, I personally would wait until after next year's opening and balance before installing SWG. I suspect the water temp is going to start dropping dramatically very soon and the chlorine additions will follow suit. The pump could certainly be added anytime.
