I am considering purchasing a replacement for my old Jandy Aquapure SAG. Does anyone have experience with the Jacuzzi brand SWG. It is being promoted by Leslie's and offered with a 5 year cell warranty. Are they any good?
Is it sized for twice or more than your pool volume? Check to see how much chlorine it is designed to create in 24 hours. If equal to or greater than 1.4 pounds of chlorine in 24 hours that will work size wise.
Otherwise, as long as it has polarity reversal to keep it clean and it has a good warranty, why not?
My neighbor has a Jacuzzi Brand t-15 cell for a 23,000 gallon pool and it's doing exactly what it's supposed to. Got it delivered in 22 hours for $318.00 total (inyopools).

The model I am looking at is a 40,000 gallon J-SS40. The chlorine output is 0.88Oz/He which I calculate to be 1.32 lbs/day. Is this sufficient for my pool size?. Also the salt level requirement is 4,100 to 8,000PPM for this SWG which seems high compared to the Jandy I have. Should this be a concern?
My Leslies guy would not recommend Jacuzzi pump or SWG he recommended Pentair intelliflo and Hayward swimpure extreme (which I was surprised since Jacuzzi is their own brand). The Hayward was on sale and had a mail in rebate which actually put it below the Jacuzzi price $1149 - $100 not to mention another $170 in Leslie's rewards to buy a years worth of salt and Muriatic acid... Something really rubbed me the wrong way when Leslie's own manager recommends against them.... Not sure the same deal is available in CA but I'm pretty sure the mail in rebate is still available. If the price is close I'd go Hayward (seems very popular around here)
