Hi all, I need these two pieces to be attached. I've tried a few types of epoxys and other glues with no success. Any ideas? Theses pieces will be under water while I'm vacuuming and only while vacuuming. Thank you
I agree that jb weld is the strongest but I tried the red and black bottle of jb weld and it doesn't stick to plastic(at least the piece I have). I bought the blue bottle and that just seals/patch things). I will look into the hot gun. All iideas welcomed? Thank you
3M 5200 Marine adhesive sealant .
The best stuff out there for underwater use.
Have always used this on the sterns /hulls of fiberglass boats , and if something ever needs to be removed after using this stuff ..........it usually pulls the gelcoat and some fiberglass off with it ! Have used it with lots of plastic transducer installs and it adheres very well to (dry) plastic .
Yes, its that good . Just give it the proper time to cure properly .
yeah pvc glue would be my vote. Just make sure you use the purple primer first. Then the pvc glue. They are usually sold in a package together made by Oatey.
