Hi, to bring my SWG pool up to the recommended level of 350ppm CH for salt water pools I need to add 52lbs of CaCl2. I saw there is flaked CaCl2 for cheaper prices than the granulated. Will flaked dissolve enough? Is there a recommended brand/type of CH increaser. Percentage of purity I need to look for/compare? Is the ice melt the same thing just branded differently? I would like to do this as cheap as possible. Ebay has 50# of granulated CaCl2 for $58. Also, is there a recommended method of addition to the pool when adding large quantities? Thanks

When I added some I pre dissolved it in a 5 gal bucket. Be aware when CH hits the water it creates a lot of heat

I have used Snow Joe Ice Melt on Amazon in the red bag, 50lb bag is like $25. 94% CaCl2
