Pump Replacement

After 11 years it's finally time to replace my pool pump. I've had no problems (until now) with my PENTAIR and would like to stay with the same unit, P6RA6YF-206LM. I noticed that PENTAIR has a model P6RA6YF-206L (no M) that sells for $150.00 to $200.00 less. The specs appear to be the same, does anyone know what the difference is between these models?

I'm in California if that makes a difference

Best I can find is that the "LM" pump you have is simply an older pump and the "L" pump is the current production. Other wise the two pumps look identical in performance so far as I can see.
