looking for correct o ring

Anyone using a PVC union made by American valve?
Each year after removing and going to reinstall the next spring,I remove the o rings and apply some silicone grease to them
Also, every so often a few seem too large and will not go back in slot.
The union I purchased at Lowes but is now discontinued there as well as not showing up on mfg. website.
American Valve, Lowes # 188223
number molded on one slip end on sleeve is 240-121 DN40 1 1/2"
I would just like to get a few o rings instead of swapping out the union for right now.

Lowes has drawers with o-rings on the hardware aisle.

Best thing to do is bring the fitting to an auto parts or hardware store where they should have a large variety of o-rings you can try for fit.

Any idea if the BUNA rings are ok to use? I know I used them when I did engine/Diesel repair bu not sure on Pool.Most all I see are the EPDM used on pools, I know these are less expensive than BUNA

I think either would be fine. Most of the time with o-rings you either need oil resistance or not. Would not need it in the case of pool water.
